Follow The Blogosphere With Only 20 Feeds (Part II)

Feeds-Reads imageIf most blogs mentioned in Part I were rather popular and well known blogs, in Part II I will try to suggest you some not that famous blogs.
My selection of so called top social bookmarkers and speedlinkers is not focused on reading everything what goes on in blogland, but delivers me a touch of underground news and a little bit of everything.

Top Social Bookmarkers and Speedlinkers

Know which blogger will navigate you through the blogweb and regularly tip off great reads.

kottke.org, Jason Kottke
Of course this list would be no list without Jason Kottke’s kottke.org, home of fine hypertext products. Go discover it yourself. This is a daily must read.

angiemckaig.com, Angie McKaig
Design of all kind ranks very high on the list of Angie McKaig’s Assorted Sweets. Almost daily great design focused links. A great blog if you like nice and beautiful things.

Google Blogoscoped, Philip Lensen.
Contains 80% Google. The 20% are Google, Google and Google. And the occasional Yahoo! News. Google Blogoscoped is not an SEO blog but a collection of news (and controversies) around Google. If SEO is what you’re looking for, use… Google.com.

The uber geeks, 4 Geeks who spend way too much time online.
Geeks, Mac users, coders and 9rulers. What do you expect? Geekery, correct. Head over to TUG if you want to know about the latest internet productivity killer hype, discover new music or Mac software. And many more.

The MU Life, Muhammed Saleem
Not only is 901am contributor Muhammed Saleem a top social bookmarker at Digg and former Navigator at Netscape, but on his personal blog he covers insider opinions on social [news] networks. Discover what goes on in the social news world.

If..Else Log, Phu Ly
Not only is Phu a talented hand-crafting designer, but Phu also maintains a list of rather funny Shorts on his blog. Sadly this list is not updated that often.
Also note that if you’re a Digger most of the Shorts will be familiar to you.

20 Blogs

This list surely isn’t complete or the reference list, but those are the 20 blogs I must read daily. Even before thinking of a life.
If you had expected a list of the 20 most popular blogs/feeds1, you should visit Share Your OPML.

Just outside of my Top20 are deep jive interests, Life Hacker, Business Logs, Drivl (maybe no blog, but I need my daily dose of awesome) and Blogging Pro.

There is one error in the list of 20. Anyone?

  1. Hey,

Thanks for the mention. Just to let you know, I am not a former Netscape Navigator (I still work there) and I have no intention of leaving the community anytime soon :)
