Social Experiment in Launching a New Blog

From the drafts…..(I guess by David, the liberal cowboy…)

I’m getting ready after cleaning out the old blog closet to launch a new blog. I’d like to share how I’m going to do this experiment.

First off I’d like to make a simple note. Instead of posting to many blogs like I’ve done in the past. I’m consolidating all of my content creation into one super blog with multiple categories. And probably bringing on some more bloggers for this blog. Here’s my process. I wanted to pick a domain that more suited my style,my philosophy, etc. So I picked one that actually meant something to me.

Ten Foot Square

I picked a cool domain with meaning to me. It is an adaptation of the Japanese Classic Hojoki. The story of a Buddhist Monk who transitions from a busy life to living in reclusion in a small ten foot square hut in the mountains.

Basically this domain is significant and will be a sequel to the Jack of All Blogs. Much of the same as the content of late. Coverage of the Blogosphere and a much more guided production of blogging, new media, and life around me. There will be two versions of Ten Foot Square. A Paid Subscription Model will be implemented on the new blog. The Main Content Area will be free as usual. The paid users will have access to full feeds of the main content area, and free downloadable white papers on topics such as How to Build your Blog’s Traffic, Search Engine Optimization for Beginners, Link Building for Beginners, and Secrets That Blog Networks don’t want you to know. A new whitepaper every week on topics that will help you make money with your blogs. Secondarily Paid Subscribers will have access to The Backpage: the blog that the blog network owners don’t want you to read. Want to know how they make money? Want to make them irrelevant? Here’s my secrets from working with multiple blog networks and seeing how they made money, how they continue to increase their traffic by up to 25-50% every single month. Guess what? You can do this to without every being apart of a blog network. Blog Networks could probably learn a thing or two as well.
