Where has all the snark gone? [ blog network weekend ]
It seems as though the mainstream blogosphere killed off all the snark. Here’s a weekend filled with snark. You may have noticed I’ve been selling off all my blogs, and well I have a huge announcement to make I figured this weekend would be a good one to make it also a good weekend to kick off some snark. I’m moving to Silicon Valley to work with Nick Douglas on Valleywag. It’s been a rough time trying to make this decision and then trying to figure out how to break it to you all of my readers. Nick contacted me a few weeks ago while he was out in New York trying to remove the cork from his well anyhow. He was removing cork from an orifice. I volunteered to help and now I’ve landed a gig at Valleywag. You may have noticed a few links last week in my downtime it was because I was off visiting Gawkersphere learning to drink the Gawker Koolaid and act more important than ever. Also learning how to ignore my IMs and what not. These are all very important traits of making it in Gawkersphere.
It’s been a fun ride. I look forward to finally being able to be snarky again. Thank God all those boring readers who demanded I tame down the snark can finally go away. By the way where is all the snark in the blogosphere??? Can someone tell me where it went?

You cannot be serious

The snark died because you friggin took us on a roller coaster ride of hard core tell like it is blogging, then serious business person then back to snark and then disappeared then back but nice then back and just a little snarky. Anyone who saw that questioned whether being a snarktastic blogger was actually a sound move for their mental well being. On top of that you started by being part of a cool club, then joined a cool blog, left it, got booted from the cool club, then started your own cool club and then left it. Which from pure coin point of view it didn’t look like being snarky was that good either. People just got tired of the ride.

Deep analogy Anthony. Snarky is sexy and that’s all that matters. Actually snarky was good for business.
