A bunch of myspacers launch blog network
A bunch of pipsqueaking Myspacers have launched their own blog network after hearing reports that Blog Networking is the cool thing to do. They couldn’t come up with a better name than Random Shapes, which look a lot like the toys they play with. So here it is the next big thing is a Kids Blog Network. Hahaha what’s next after that a toddler’s blog network? BTW What’s a blog network for anyhow?
Come on Chartreuse pitch us some real news?
This is how the Schnitzel crumbles.

There is no news in the blog network space.
I have decided to take the children under my wing and make them STARS….
To quote somebody’s scripture “and a child will lead..”
Who knows maybe a random shape kid will figure out how blog networks can make money without resorting to porn.
Or maybe they will put pictures of themselves up without shirts and call it porn.
Either way, ‘the children are the future’. Maybe we need a backup plan.

I’m already on it Chartreuse. I am turning MySpacers into a Wild Horde of Zombie Clones to push my New Reformed Insane Blog Media Network.
Robert Scoble, Chris Locke, Dvorak, maybe even Tom Peters! is laughing with us and at us.
Now it be your turn!
Click em, Stick em, and Slick em.
Our bayonets are sharpened and glistening in the New Sunlight of Lovelorn Lunacy.
With Jack of All Blogs as our prettty pretend “enemy” (to generate controversy)...we shall Underwhelm and Roll in Money…with PAVEMENT providing the soundtrack!

Yes we did, thank you for noticing. In fact, most of us are not myspace users. this post by one of the members pretty much sums up my and at least some of the network’s opinions about myspace.
Thanks for the spot and thanks for the stereotype.

One thing we’re not is a bunch of myspacers. We may be kids but we’re just fine with that.
Thanks for the linkage anyway.

Meh, it’s kinda ironic for you to so childishly stereotype teenage Myspace bloggers, and as it’s been said, we don’t use Myspace.
Please refrain from making statements that are uncalled for. For example: Even if I felt, for whatever reason, that you deserved having your guts yanked out, grounded into powder and then mixed with nightingale poop and shoved down your esophagus, I would be nice enough to keep it to myself.
Thanks for the link and have a nice day.

Like my fellow members have said, thanks for the link, your hits are appreciated. as for your comments, you really need to read up some more before you start making blanket accusations.
and to make a point, one of your sponsors is LJ, which is pretty funny considering you’re bashing us for being MySpace users. aren’t the two sites pretty much the same thing?

Well, at least now we know who’s addicted to Technorati…

Careful making fun of the future. Notice they compared their venture to 9rules and not BlogMedia despite the attempts by Matt to legitamize (sic) this mess with BlogHerald.
One of these kids maybe the spawn of a 9rules disiciple. Who knows what goes on in those private rooms…
If Angelique wasn’t 12 I would marry her. She would make a great ex-wife.

“Who knows what goes on in those private rooms…”
... I dont wanna know =P
At least they have an opinion. Although its the same one that was posted four times by four different people saying the exact thing.

So what happens when you’re not a teenager anymore? You get booted from the “network”?
I’m trying to decide if this idea is silly, or, not so silly.

We decided that when we turn twenty our feeds are no longer on the main page but our bios will move to a “hall of fame” type of thing with links to our blogs and such.

This is a joke right?

By that time, blogs and blog networks would’ve been a thing of the past. We’d all be communicating with our minds through nano-bot wireless networking implants.
Anyway, congrats and good luck!

I think you’re all taking the wrong perspective with this. Instead of looking at it as snotty teenagers doing something because they think it’s the new cool bandwagon to jump on, look at it as teenagers who want to improve their writing and find other teenagers who want to do the same to draw inspiration from. Look at it as some teenagers who are maybe, just maybe, some good examples of who will be leading sooner than you think about.
It doesn’t have to be a joke.
But if you’d prefer to think of it that way, then we don’t need you anyhow.

I think, and I can say this, I’m 34, that you’re never going to get respect as a teenager in the business world. Sure, there are exceptions, and sure, there are smart teenagers, etc…
But, to the outside world, and those of us who are older, a teenager is still going to be viewed as a teenager, which is that they don’t know much. Not a dig, just a rule of life.
Heck, once you really get out there working, you’re going to find out the “no real respect until your 30” rule does in fact apply even in today’s youth Internet marketplace.
Best of luck to you though. I think my main skepticism came that it was being called a blog network.

To Matt and Angelique:
Angelique, there is no difference between 12 and 17. There is a BIG difference between 17 and 18.
And Matt, don’t be so sensitive.

Chartreuse, 17 – 12 = 5.
Mathematical technicalities aside, does this mean we’re booked for this November? Vegas? I’ve always wondered what a divorce felt like.

[...] Then it launched, gaining some mixed reviews. I was approached again about joining, but I was still pretty skeptical. With a redesign on it’s way for the CSS Reboot and some new articles in the making, I really didn’t want to give myself a reputation of a “pipsqueaking Myspacer” before I even had a chance to launch them.
