RSS + iTunes = Global Radio Hack

I wanted to understand RSS and how to use an aggregatorbot to hack into the kernal of iTunes and force it to launch a global broadcast of my Steven Streight CompuMusik junglist ragga speedbeat anti-metrosexual, avant garde, surrealist-industrial noise forever, with nobody able to stop it, or quit listening to it.

I bought the Extreme Tech book from Wiley Publishing, Hacking RSS and Atom, by Leslie M. Orchard.

Although I learned a few tricks for enhancing enclosure downloads with BitTorrent, building the XPathScraper base class, transforming a microwave oven into a highly productive pseudo spam generator via “negative RSS bleeding”, watching projects in subversion repositories, using Xpath expressions to build XSL transformation, structuring feed entry content with microformats, building a simple hCalendar parser, generating feeds from Yahoo! News searches, refining Google web searches and Julian Date ranges, remotel querying CVS history events and log entries…

...still, I was at a loss to find any mention of what I sincerely and aggressively desire to do.

So I ate a couple marshmallows and went back to bed.
