Designer Sex Sells better than Generic Sex.
Some chump in his workboxers is spouting off at the mouth again. This time his wisdom has been decreed that Mike’s wonderfully sexy designs is what makes the difference for Damn Im Cute. And while I don’t disagree that the designs made a huge difference. I also think there is some other factors that need to be brought into questions. Pageviews is not always an accurate number. Consistency, Longevity, and the willingness to obtain links down the homestretch is what counts and Sexerati has a much better edge, as does Jack of All Blogs.
I am also revealing a secret ratio I use to privately rank bloggers in the blogosphere. And how it differs from such lists as Blog Network List in my simplicity. I think we can all agree traffic = $$$ but I think more consistent traffic is far more important and human based traffic is weighted more strongly in my opinion when talking about quality content versus, strong se results.

Analysis
What this means in laymen’s terms is this. Sex sells. And so does talking about and posting pictures of celebrities. If there were any hotties out there in the blogosphere that could jump my ratings on the FF Community Network than I wouldn’t have to come up with fancy algorithms justifying why my site has more human value than Damn Im Cute which in my opinion has the value of a pile of road apples. What Scrivs has done is take a pile of road apples and painted them in pretty pink and people are attracted to it. I mean seriously everyone is curious about pink road apples but if you stick around long enough you will notice there just road apples painted pink. Here you get in depth news, analysis, and great readers.
Haha, hey you made the bet with me…why don’t you inform your readers of that bet. Thanks for the motivation my man. Funny you write this because I was going to do (hell guess I still will do it) on how certain rankings Technorati, PubSub, etc. don’t always equate to the traffic you want to receive.

What bet? I still have a bigger JOAB Power Ranking than you, a better spot on the Blog Network List, Technorati,Site Explorer,etc. etc.Subscriptions. I could go on and on and on.
