Yahoo gobbles up Six Apart
Ok, seriously we all wish. Wouldn’t it be great if Yahoo actually bought up Six Apart. I mean seriously I am so tired of the talking bobbleheads that run that company over there. But that’s not what this news is about. This is about Yahoo offering Movable Type to small business owners. But they are also going to be offering Wordpress too according to Dave Winer.The sucky thing about MT is that it costs money and isn’t very flexible. The great thing about Wordpress is that its free. The other great thing if Yahoo were to buy SixApart is that maybe Duncan would get a good nights sleep and not have to think about SA so much. Seriously I think he blogged the earliest he ever has today. Two of his post were about this deal. Interesting.

I swear to god I’m going to buy you one of those world time thingies and put a bloody great big arrow on it to where I’m at. The news cam through at about 4pm my time and the Winer stuff about 7-8pm for memory. Thats the advantage of being on the other side of the globe
