Another Sign the Blogging Bubble is Near
Apparently yet another blogger has decided to quit his day job. This time to pursue full time blogging. At the current rate it appears the entire world could quit their day jobs and start blogging. If this happens we could have some major problems because no one will be working at Google. And without anyone working at Google who is going to send us our checks?
Denton closes Oddjack
In other news Denton closes Oddjack so someone can go back to work at Google to write checks. (link)

To be fair, I’m as anti-bubble talk as I’m anti-Web 2.0 (bloody wankers) as well. Look at the fundamentals, a lot less money going into companies that are at least now making a quid. This isn’t a bubble, sure, its a boom (well atleast a mini-boom) but certainly most ppl I know in VC and investment banking are one bitten, twice shy still on anything IT. And sure, there will be failures (how long till OSM/PJ crashes
) but its nothing like 99.

How the heck do you make a living off of blogging?
