Size Matters. And so does length.

Some girls say size doesn’t matter it’s what you do with it. Girls that tell the truth will admit size matters especially length.

This famous quote I overheard in the bar last night really had me stumped. I sat around and wondered the meaning of it. I even consulted the experts. What I really needed was a man’s view. We discussed it at length and really didn’t come to any solid conclusions. Here’s what I think.

Length matters. The Longer the Better.

5 ways to increase your average visit length.

1. Girls crave quality.
Girls like content. They don’t want someone who only is one sided or shallow. They crave content. They want it, they need it. And the more you have of it on your blog the better. If you really want to increase your length than you have try to increase the amount of your blogging while not losing your quality.

2. Girls need more foreplay
Give your readers a taste of what they are going to get, but use multiple page articles to draw them in, and get them hot and bothered and wanting to CLICK your link.

3. Girls like to know who else your linking up with.

You can increase your visit length by increasing the amount of links you have on your homepage. People will be curious who else your linking up with and explore a little deeper.

4. Appearances are important.
One of my favorite blog networks is 9rules because most of their sites are gorgeous. Visitors will stay longer if their is something worth looking at. Nobody wants her to leave when she just got here.

5. Girls like a guy who can cook.
Girls love to eat. A true way to girls heart is to cook her a homemade meal. Well that’s what my mom told me. No really girls need feeds. Put feeds on your site and visitors will come back longer and stay longer. It doesn’t sound true. But their more likely to visit on a daily basis if you got good cooking. So put your feeds where they can find them.

  1. Dragging my mind out of the gutter (I was going to say that, as a girl, I think length is overrated)... Dragging my mind out of the gutter, I have to say that feeds are overrated. And as for linking to everyone you can think of, it’s droll, dear. So 1996.
